Refund Policy

Effective Date: June 1 2026

At Travocity, we are committed to providing excellent customer service and transparent booking practices. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for travel services booked through us.

General Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the terms and conditions of the airline, hotel, tour operator, cruise line, insurance provider, or other travel supplier involved in your booking. As an intermediary, we arrange travel services on behalf of these suppliers, and their refund rules will apply unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation by the Customer

If you cancel your booking, any refund will be subject to:

  • The cancellation policies of the relevant travel supplier(s).

  • Any non-refundable deposits or prepaid services.

  • Any applicable administrative or service fees charged by our agency, where disclosed at the time of booking.

Some promotional, discounted, or special-offer bookings may be completely non-refundable.

Package Holidays

If you have booked a package holiday, your cancellation and refund rights will be governed by your booking conditions and applicable UK law, including the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, where applicable.

Cancellation charges may increase as your departure date approaches.

Flights

Airline tickets are generally subject to the fare rules set by the airline. Many low-cost or promotional fares are non-refundable. Where a refund is permitted, it will be processed only after the airline approves the refund.

Hotels, Tours, and Other Travel Services

Refunds for hotels, transfers, excursions, car hire, cruises, and other travel services are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier.

Changes by Suppliers

If an airline, hotel, or other travel supplier cancels or significantly changes your booking, your options will depend on that supplier’s policies and applicable law. Where a refund is available, we will assist you in obtaining it as quickly as possible.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

Processing times vary depending on the supplier and payment provider but typically range from 7 to 30 business days after the refund has been approved.

Non-Refundable Charges

The following may not be refundable:

  • Booking or service fees (where disclosed)

  • Visa application fees

  • Travel insurance premiums

  • Processing charges

  • Government taxes or fees where non-refundable

  • Services already used or partially used

Force Majeure

Refunds for cancellations caused by extraordinary events beyond our reasonable control (including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, or other unforeseen events) will depend on the policies of the relevant travel supplier and applicable legal requirements.
